Brief Introduction:
Cumene hydroperoxide is a colorless to light yellow liquid with a sharp, irritating odor. Flash point79.44℃.
Boils at 153°C and at 100°C at the reduced pressure of 8 mm Hg.Slightly soluble in water anddenser than water.
Hence sinks in water.Readily soluble in alcohol, acetone, esters, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons.Toxic by inhalation and skin absorption.

Main Application:
CHP may be used for various polymerization reactions. It can be used in emulsion, solution and bulk polymerizations. In emulsion processes,it may be activated by organic-soluble or water-soluble reducing agents, or by metal compounds to achieve polymerization at room temperature or lower.
Package and Storage:
standard package can contain25kg,200 kg,1000kg peroxides by high density polyethylene barrels.
Storage:
-30℃ (minimum) to 40°c(highest), in order to prevent crystallization. To achieve the recommended storage conditions,CHP-80 performance can be maintained for at least three months.
