Brief Introduction：
Floating Agent ICASON30-A, composited of acrylate copolymer, is a surfactant which can be used to produce floating agent . By adjusting surface tension and form tension gradient after blending into powder coating, it produces uneven surface, that is, form wrinkles, hammer and art pattern effect. ICASON30-A charge and proportion are adjusted to the line with powder. Improve the re-spray effect of recycled powder.

Application:
1. Used in all kinds of outdoor and indoor powder coatings. Produce wrinkles, hammer, turtle shell texture and art pattern.
2. The floating agent ICASON30-A could not be pre-mixed and extruded with all the other ingredients as the pattern shall not be obtained through this method. Add 0.1-1%, recommend dosage is 0.3% by weight of base powder, and then cool mix all the materials very thoroughly. The exact dosage of ICASON30-A can be determined by lab trials as per the desired pattern.
3. When using this product, it generally doesn’t require leveling agent, gloss enhancing wet agent and benzoin, therefore it saves the powder coating production cost.
4. In order to adjust the pattern effect, in addition to modulating the ICASON30-A dosage, we also may adjust the fillers’ dosage and types in the powder coating formulation: More filler dosage makes small and shallow pattern; while fewer filler dosage brings big, deep pattern and is easy to reveal the panel.
5. Big dosage of ICASON30-A makes small texture pattern, and small dosage gets large texture pattern.
6. If some 2-methylimidazole is added in bottom powder, the three-dimensional effect of wrinkles is stronger. The dosage of 2-methylimidazole is 0.02-0.05%.
Package and Storage:
1. Store in a cool and dry place to avoid contacting other chemical products. Seal tightly after using. As this product is irritant to respiratory tract, please wear dustproof mask and glove when operating.
2. Package: 25kgs/polyethylene-lined kraft paper-plastic compound bag Or Fiber drums.
3. Validity will be 1 year under normal temperature. The Product can still be usable out of this period if inspection passed.
